Market Square
San Francisco, California
In the heart of San Francisco, the historic Western Furniture Exchange and Merchandise Mart was acquired by ADCO in 1968. In a recent transaction with Shorenstein Properties LLC, this unique art deco landmark is being preserved and repositioned to create Market Square. An exciting multi-use development ready to serve the up and coming Civic Center area, Market Square, pre-certified for LEED Gold - CS (core and shell) certification to document the energy efficient and sustainable operation of the facility, offers 200,000 square feet of quality retail space and 890,000 square feet of high-tech commercial space.
The centerpiece of Market Square will be the conversion of Stevenson Street. Running perpendicular between Market Square's two buildings, the thoroughfare will be transformed into a beautiful public garden lined with an outstanding array of shops, restaurants and gathering places.
